Soaring Gulls & North Lake Jacqueline Landscape Improvement Project

The Northeast entrance of the community is getting an upgrade.  The grass area along Soaring Gulls and the Lake end at Lake Jacqueline is currently underway and the progress is looking good.  These are renderings of what the project will look like upon completion.

Long Term Landscape Plans

Tree Trimming Rotation

Desert Shores has a 4 year rotation for the pine trees in the community. Pine trees generally need less pruning than other trees. They only need to be trimmed to remove dead or damaged branches or to encourage new growth. The best time of year to prune pine trees is late winter or early spring. Incorrect pruning could severely damage the development of the plant and, in some cases, even kill it. Any resident that neighbors the main roads we ask that you do not prune any trees yourself. Please let our professionals assess the health of the trees.

Current Trim Rotation
2019 - Blue
2020 - Red
2021 - Yellow
2022 - Orange

If you have a concern regarding any landscpaing issue you see around the community please let our Community Relations Coordinator know at communityrelations@desertshores.org

When contacting us we require your name, address, location of the concern, and a photo.  Our primary goal is to adhere to our rotation set by our landcape experts, however, we will assess each concern with our landscape team and proceed with their recommendation.
